Founded in 1893, Cowan Christian Church has had an impact on the surrounding community for the last 115 years. While God has done amazing things to and through our congregation, we believe that the best years of Cowan Christian Church are still ahead of us!

We know that being a church isn’t about having a building or filling up our lives with meetings. Being a church is about real people loving each other in a real way. It’s about real people loving a Real God in a real way.

We are part of a movement of churches known as the Christian churches/churches of Christ, whose well-known plea is “In essentials, unity; in opinion, liberty; in all things, love.” We strive to live out this principle.
